Since I was little, I’ve always been attracted to art in every form. My professional journey had a rough start as I am self-taught and never had anyone to seek advice from. I felt alone from time to time, but after a while I was able to balance things out and became content with it. My work is heavily inspired by my travels and the social and mental health issues I’ve experienced throughout the years, expressed through symbolic elements and small details.

I've been working on a set of illustrations inspired by life and death, which is a topic I contemplated about quite often during the past year. It's still ongoing. Right now the first few pieces are completed, and I'm expecting to have a couple more done for displaying at SIF.

I have a mascot/character -- a ginger cat with 3 eyes -- that is usually featured in my recent works. He's there in the introduction image too. I'm sure he's very excited to meet everyone at SIFV.17 :)

I've visited South Korea a few times, and one of the things I like the most is the Korean art/design scene. I love how there are shops selling lovely goods from independent artists and I discover new artists in every trip. So when my SIF application was accepted, I was over the moon! I can't wait to get to know and support more Korean and international artists!

I love mountains and usually do a few long distance hiking and camping every year. This time I'm looking to do some hikes in Korea if the weather is good.
